Disclaimer

Given the inherent characteristics of the product, achieving absolute airtightness or watertightness cannot be guaranteed. Minor wood cracks with time and occasional rust on certain heater elements are normal occurrences. Squeaky floors are also not uncommon in saunas especially once they dry out.

Sauna Care Guidelines

  • After each sauna session, ensure all vents remain open to allow excess moisture to dissipate. In saunas with a hallway, leaving the steam room door ajar is recommended.
  • Regularly empty the cinder drawer of the wood-burning stove.
  • For minimal staining, wipe down benches and floors to keep them dry, despite the presence of water drains.
  • Refresh the exterior wall finish every 3-5 years based on the finish type.
  • Above all, remember to use your sauna regularly. Extended periods of dryness are not favorable for saunas.
